about

Cailleacha Chúigid Uladh (Hags of Ulster) was collected by George Petrie from the playing of Galway piper Patrick Coneely in 1839, who told Petrie the tune had Connaught origins. Lough Key is a composition of the late fiddle player Larry Redican. Last Night’s Fun was collected by Canon James Goodman (1860s) and appears in Tunes of the Munster Pipers, vol. 2. Within Roche’s (1927) collection, it appears as “Paddy Be Aisy.”
