Humours of Sweetwater is Lynnsey’s composition, written in 2013. Brendan Breathnach collected An Bóithrín Cam (The Crooked Lane) from Junior Crehan. The Road to Durham is a composition of Armin Barnett and David Molk, written en route to Durham, NY. Lynnsey learned this tune off a well-circulated “Session of the Century” tape recorded in Gortahork, Donegal in 1984 featuring musicians from Altan.

Fiddle player Caitlin Finley played for us back in the day at the Coatesville Traditional Irish Music Series. It took a while to find out she’d made a CD with flute & piano (also piccolo, pipes & melodeon) accompaniment but it was worth the wait! Check it out. Will Woodson & Chris Stevens are standouts, too. It’s nice to find a contemporary Irish CD I like start to finish. Frank Dalton

Masterful box playing. Has some very appealing, unusual quality to it - hard to put into words... might be the Sliabh Luachra style peeping through. musicstillspeaks
